The program allows to manage the priority of the use of processor cores (supports both dual-core or Quad CPU). Rather than leave the distribution to the system, you will be able to determine the sequence of the use of free resources, such as setting your browser to the first kernel, and a firewall for a second.
Despite the widespread multicore processors, not all applications to date, correctly utilizes the available system resources. For example, a program that does not understand the presence in the system of multiple virtual processors, will never use the second one. And when these kinds of accumulating a lot of quick-response system, you can forget it. System utility called CPU Control is designed to simplify that task somewhat.
The utility provides several modes of control:
Automatic: CPU-Control is responsible for distribution of applications
hand: according to a pre-defined list is the launch of custom applications
All processes run on the first logical processor: for compatibility with older applications
All processes run on the second logical processor
Operating system: Windows 98/ME/2000/XP/Vista
